Cornered

Hallo. I really need to update this more. I've been saying it on my other blog for months now, but I just need to find my feet and my rhythm. It'll happen. I'm making headway so stay tuned for more!

There's this amazing website called Drablr where authors can put up short stories of 100 words or less. I would definitely recommend checking it out! The micro fictions are short, snappy and, from what I've read so far, really good! I've put one up there so far (bad Talie!) and decided to share it with you today. So here is Cornered:

~*~

I snuck a look at my companion. Peeked at him from the corner of my eye. I daren’t look at him directly. I daren’t acknowledge his existence. He would attack if I did. Like a rabid dog fuelled by his anger, such was his rage in his hatred of me. It was mutual. I had run and he had found me, hurt me again. He tapped my shoulder and I shuddered. I didn’t look. He didn’t want me to, just wanted to remind me that he was there. He was going nowhere fast. My oldest and most hated friend.
Despair.
